Launched in 2005, Elissar & Other Stories was inspired by a desire to explore the world - to experience its distant places and witness the diversity of the people who inhabit them.

We have developed a passion for ethnic arts and handicrafts and discovered that combining such expressive, culturally-rich elements with contemporary surroundings created a sense of timelessness, harmony and balance that is truly invigorating. As a passionate exhibitor of beautiful handcrafted products, it is our goal to connect gifted artisans from Baghdad all the way to Peru with people who value art and both the hands and imagination that create it.
